For a better understanding of our Drum Washer Attachment Lampshades: The lampshade interiors are made with white styrene (white lampshade plastic). All lampshades come with washer (spider) attachments similar to the one shown. These lampshades are typically used on lamps with a harp (please note that a harp is not included). The inner diameter of the washer is precisely 7/16 inches, which is slightly less than 0.5 inches.

Regarding the Attachment Drop: This aspect may be a bit confusing. Most lampshades have a 1/2 inch drop, meaning that the attachment is recessed 1/2 inch below the top of the lampshade. If you choose a 2-inch attachment, it will be recessed 2 inches below the top of the lampshade.
