Our lampshades feature interiors made of white styrene (white lampshade plastic) and come with washer (spider) attachments, similar to the one shown. These lampshades are typically used on lamps with a harp, although the harp itself is not included with your purchase. The inner diameter of the washer measures precisely 7/16 inches, slightly less than 0.5 inches.

Determining the attachment drop can be a bit confusing. Most lampshades have a 1/2 inch drop, meaning the attachment is set back 1/2 inch beneath the top of the lampshade. If you choose a 2-inch attachment, it will be recessed 2 inches below the top of the lampshade. Watch the diagram change as you select different attachment drops to gain a better understanding of this measurement.
